Four pieces, endless settings: Valensia Moda's signature pairings

Valensia men's outfit pairings start from a simple idea: a well-built garment never changes its character, it only changes register depending on where you wear it. In our latest carousel we imagined four looks, from the beach to the city, from a casual evening to a more polished setting, to show the versatility of our garments through a short imaginary journey between Forte dei Marmi and the French Riviera.

Paisley shirt and military green trousers: the daytime look

The first pairing brings together the cotton paisley shirt with snap buttons and the men's military green cotton twill trousers. The shirt has a regular fit, long sleeves and a semi-spread collar; the black snap buttons pick up the darker tones of the pattern, creating chromatic continuity instead of breaking it. The trousers, in a sturdy yet comfortable twill, have a flap front pocket and a welt pocket at the back: details that give the garment a more structured feel without weighing it down. It is the look that works well during the day, in casual but considered settings.

Washed denim shirt: the piece that never goes out of style

The washed denim shirt with hand-embroidered details is the piece for those looking for a less predictable denim. The washed finish softens both the colour and the hand of the fabric, while the hand-embroidered appliqués add an artisanal detail you only notice up close. A semi-spread collar and genuine mother-of-pearl buttons complete a garment that stands well on its own, with no need for much around it.

Beige Japanese jacquard shirt: the texture that makes the difference

What is the difference between a printed pattern and a woven jacquard?

It is a question we are often asked: the difference lies in the technique. In a printed pattern the design is applied on top of the fabric; in jacquard, instead, the motif comes directly from the interlacing of the yarns during weaving. This is why the beige Japanese jacquard cotton shirt has a depth you can feel as well as see: the intricate weave stays visible even at close range, and the natural beige colour makes it easy to pair with anything. A semi-spread collar and genuine mother-of-pearl buttons complete its more minimal character.

Sacred Heart T-shirt and navy blue trousers: the essential that speaks of identity

The fourth pairing is the most essential: the organic cotton Sacred Heart T-shirt, with an embroidery on the front depicting the Sacred Heart and, inside it, the brand's V, worn with the men's navy blue cotton twill trousers. The trousers have internal facings lined in a light contrast, a flap front pocket and a welt pocket at the back: tailoring details that show even in a garment made for everyday wear. It is the simplest pairing of the four, but also the one that best tells the identity of the brand through a single embroidered detail.
