Simone Tessadori in Forte dei Marmi: The Art of Semi-Couture at Via Idone 6
Throughout the month of June, our concept store at Via Idone 6 hosts a new chapter in Valensia's ongoing exploration: the tailoring world of Simone Tessadori. A collection we chose to welcome for its ability to translate stillness into elegance, through rare craftsmanship and a tailoring sensibility that needs no logo to be recognized.
A vision of fashion born from silence
Simone Tessadori's philosophy moves in the opposite direction from passing trends. His is a tailoring language made of fluid geometries and quiet surfaces, designed to follow the body's movement rather than impose upon it. An innate, timeless elegance — the reason we chose to include him in our selection of emerging and exceptional talents for this season in Forte dei Marmi.

Semi-couture: when craftsmanship transforms material
In the collection presented at Via Idone 6, craftsmanship is expressed through a technique that goes beyond industrial manufacturing: semi-couture. Unlike mass production, each garment begins as existing fabric that is then hand-worked, transforming it into a one-of-a-kind piece.
Hand-embroidered, hand-cut tulle
One of the most striking expressions of this research is the embroidered tulle skirt, later hand-cut and carved to create a pattern completely different from the original. A gesture that requires extraordinary skill, and yields a unique result every time.

Thread embroidery on silk twill
The same principle guides the silk twill blouses: the thread embroidery is done only after the garment has already been made, letting the design follow and enhance the tailored structure of the finished piece.

The value of the details you don't see
Simone Tessadori's tailoring care reveals itself most of all in what stays hidden from view. The inside of each garment is fully trimmed in contrasting Liberty prints, while every button carries the brand's logo seal. Even the mandarin collars, tall and clean-lined, speak of an attention to detail that runs through every stage of construction, from the silk of the shirts to the precision of the finishes.

Texture and material: brocade, sequins, and lurex
The selection we brought to Via Idone 6 also moves into a more textural, vibrant register. Brocade plays with relief and depth of color, sequins give a liquid effect in the light, while lurex closes the collection with a jumpsuit in an intense, luminous color. A range of textures designed to accompany every moment of summer.
